Still the man: Julio Jones (13 catches, 135 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns: 13.50 points)

Julio Jones had a great day in real life football, making some crucial catches (including this absolute highlight reel play), and going for a career high 13 receptions. It was a solid day fantasy football wise as well, as he got a solid 13.50 point in NFL standard scoring leagues, and 26.50 points in PPR leagues.

Jones frustrated fantasy owners when he was ruled down at the 1-yard line on Atlanta’s game-winning drive, after the play was initially ruled a touchdown. That would have been an extra six points which ended up getting vultured away by the run game.

Nontheless, Julio Jones’ stat-line should be satisfying to fantasy owners, and thrilling to owners who have him in a PPR league.

Analysis: Julio Jones may not have gotten his touchdown but he continued to show why he will be one of the top-3 fantasy options at wide receiver this season. Jones was by far Matt Ryan’s favorite target, and he led the team in targets, yards and receptions on Sunday.

Next week the Falcons go to Dallas to face the Cowboys. While Dallas did shut down the Eagles offense, it won’t have an answer for Jones. Continue starting the Alabama product as a high end WR1.
