Improved defensive line…

So, coaching has been great and the offensive line is improved so what does that leave? The defensive line of course! The defensive line has been horrid over the past few years, but it is slowly but surely developing into something to be proud of.

The Falcons have depth for the first time in centuries which has everyone grinning from ear to ear. Atlanta’s first pick in the draft Vic Beasley picked up his first career sack and forced fumble in the team’s week 2 win over the New York Giants and was also rewarded with two holding calls as well.

As a team, the Falcons have accounted for just two sacks on the season, both coming in week 2, but have forced numerous holding calls which at the end of the day are just as good as sacks. Any time you can force an offense into a loss of 10 is more times than not going to end in success for your defense.
