Atlanta Falcons vs. Houston Texans: Tale of the tape
The offenses
One word appropriately sums up the Falcons offense right now—dominant. In Matt Ryan and Julio Jones, Atlanta has one of the scariest quarterback-receiver combinations in the league. Jones is playing better than any wideout right now with his incredible size and athleticism. Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has made a point of feeding him the football.

What’s more exciting is the Falcons appear to finally have a run game. Tevin Coleman looked impressive before going down with a ribs injury, but second-year Devonta Freeman stole the show last week with 30 carries for 141 yards and three touchdowns.
Houston’s offense has struggled this season, although DeAndre Hopkins is as talented a receiver as you could wish to face. Arian Foster’s availability will determine how well this unit can perform. If he’s ready to go, there is suddenly a new dimension on offense to cause nightmares for defenses. But if he’s out, the unit will continue to be flat.
