J.J. Watt. Who else were you expecting to be the top person that the Atlanta Falcons will need to slow down this Sunday? Watt is a freak of nature. You have heard that a million times. Can he be shut down? No. But can the Falcons slow him down? Possibly. Here’s what they will need to do.

The Falcons will need to get the ball out of Matt Ryan’s hands fast. Expect a lot of screens and play action passes to the opposite side of Watt. If Ryan can get the ball out quick, Watt won’t play a factor in this game. Look at what the Philadelphia Eagles were able to do against the Falcons in the second half of week 1. Quick passes doomed us. That’s how you stop a good pass rushing team.

Let’s see how the Falcons go about finding an answer for Watt. But, you can almost 100 percent a lot of intermediate routs rather than routs that take a while to develop. May the Falcons’ offensive line rest in peace if they are unable to stop Watt and Clowney come Sunday.
