2) The Falcons are not too Julio Jones dependent

A couple of rather silly, uneducated fans have pinned the Falcons’ early success on one man. Julio Jones. “If the Falcons didn’t have Jones, they wouldn’t be very good,” they said. Well, the Falcons put that to rest in their week 4 drubbing of the Texans.

Jones caught four passes for 38 yards and did not catch a single pass in the second half. Arguably the Falcons’ third best wide receiver Leonard Hankerson led the team with 103 receiving yards, but it was the run game that dominated the Falcons’ offense against the Texans. Jones wasn’t needed whatsoever. Jones is a luxury, not a necessity. People need to realize that.
