Ricardo Allen was thrusted into the starting free safety spot in the off-season and has made three starts before getting injured in the Falcons’ week 3 match up against the Dallas Cowboys. Allen has 17 tackles and an interception, but was benched for taking bad routes before getting injured. Allen is very young and has a lot to learn, so this type of play is more than expected. So far, not so bad. Let’s hope he has a speedy recovery and is back out on the field sooner than later.
