On Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons continued their winning ways in impressive fashion against the Washington Redskins. And though it may have not been as shimmery as the pummeling of the Texans, there were a few moments that proved to everyone that this team had turned the corner and is supplanting itself in the conversation of elite teams.

The offense struggled, but the defense held them the Redskins at bay for most of the game. Call this a gritty win or some may say it was luck. Nevertheless, the Falcons moved to 5-0 and have set an NFL record with four of their wins being comebacks in the fourth quarter, only further emphasizing that this team can finish.

But, as we continue to revel in the joys of victory, let’s remember those times where the Falcons grasped control of the game and etched memories in our minds that will last forever. Images that we will tell our children and relive for the rest of our lives as this game may be the greatest sign of how this team will find their keys to the gates of victory for the rest of the season.
