The easiest touchdown he will ever score

Julio Jones’ pee wee football coach would be very proud of him right now. He didn’t give up on the ball, and, thus, saved the game for the Falcons. But, if you’re Washington you must feel a bit slighted by the 12th man in Atlanta… the turf.

It was just one of those days for the Falcons, who struggled mightily on offense and were saved by epic plays, such as the ones on this list. But most champions have been on the receiving end of good fortune.

Julio Jones may have disappointed fantasy owners around the world, but when he jumped on the ball that was bouncing away from everyone, his rare mediocre fantasy day was minimized as he pounced on the loose ball like a lion.

When it comes to making a Super Bowl run, tenacity, talent, and a little luck never hurt any team vying for the title. And this play may not be remembered next year, but it very well should be if the Falcons can continue to rise up from the depths they take one step at the time. Was it luck to bounce off the turf the way it did? Yes. But it was not luck for Jones to be in the right place at the right time.
