We are entering a big week in the NFL, and the same can be said about these weekly picks. Last week, I posted a solid 10-4 record. I was wrong to put my faith in Kansas City, Baltimore, Jacksonville and San Diego.
This week, there a a number of big games. It all kicks off with the Thursday Night Football showdown between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints inside the Superdome. Seattle host Carolina and New England travel to Indianapolis in two huge games.
All lines are provided by OddsShark. Let’s do this.
Atlanta Falcons (-3) at New Orleans Saints
This won’t be as close as many are expecting. The Falcons (5-0) are walking into a fight on Thursday night against the rival Saints (1-4). To remain undefeated, Devonta Freeman will need to continue his form and the defense will need to slow down Drew Brees. I think they come through in a tight one.
Pick: Atlanta 33, New Orleans 27
Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) at Buffalo Bills
Andy Dalton and the Bengals (5-0) are on fire, but he will tested against a very good defense. The Bills (3-2) offense scares me with Tyrod Taylor out, and the status of LeSean McCoy is also unknown. The Bengals keep on rolling.
Pick: Cincinnati 24, Buffalo 10
