The wide receivers

It’s almost laughable how good Julio Jones is, as he has supplanted himself as the best wide receiver in the league hands down. But, there are other guys who deserve a lot of respect as they continue to help this offense become lethal.

Everyone thought that Roddy White was missing and they sent pictures of him out on milk cartons trying to find the beloved Falcon. Well, the good news is that the search paid off as he has re-emerged as a threat for Matt Ryan and this offense over the past two weeks by making crucial plays for his team.

But there is another one who is continuing to draw praise from around the locker room and coaching staff, and that is Leonard Hankerson.

He is the perfect slot guy for the Falcons with Jones and Roddy manning the outsides, and this team has nearly perfected its receiving corps. And amid this perfection means that this offense will never be the issue again as long as they continue to give a little time for Matt Ryan to get them the ball in their hands.

With a deadly trio of receivers, the Falcons can continue to rely heavily on the passing game when the running game is lacking against good run defenses that will try to do what it takes to stop the ridiculous tear that Freeman is on. And if the teams requires a shootout, this squad will have no problems with that as they are loaded with talent in receivers.

Oh, and might I reiterate: they have Julio Jones.
