If you ask me, Jameis Winston had a pretty good game overall. Winston completed 16 of 29 for 177 yards and a touchdown, but most importantly, he converted third downs when it mattered the most.

In overtime, Winston led the Buccaneers on a 15-play, 68-yard drive  in which he converted three third downs to keep the chains moving. The ability to convert the downs led the Buccaneers’ 31-yard game-winning field goal.

Sure, Winston missed some passes here and there, but he’s a rookie so you can’t expect him to be on the money every time in a hostile environment.

Winston is the reason the Buccaneers’ offense scored. Hats off to him.
