23. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (2-6)

Last week: 19
Change: -4

The losses keep piling up for San Diego, and most of them are by small margins. The Chargers lost a fourth straight in a 29-26 defeat to the Ravens, and a team with a lot of potential is quickly evaporating into nothing.

Melvin Gordon continues to underwhelm, averaging just three yards per carry against Baltimore. Philip Rivers put in another strong performance, throwing for 301 yards and three touchdowns, but ultimately it came to nothing.

The Chargers stay at home for the next two weeks, taking on Chicago and Kansas City. With a couple of wins, they may be able to get a rapidly declining season back on track. The margin for error is now minimal, though.
