The Andrew Luck we saw in the fourth quarter against Carolina is not the Andrew Luck we have seen this season, but it was an encouraging sign for the Indianapolis Colts. Luck was picking apart a strong defense at will, and pulled his team back into the game.
He was unable to finish the job in overtime, and was unlucky to see his pass intended for Coby Fleener tipped in the air and picked off by Luke Kuechly. Luck needs to play this way consistently for the Colts to have any shot at success this season.
At 3-5, Indianapolis awaits Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. This looks to be a very different contest than the one we saw last January. Manning and the Broncos limped out of the playoffs at home to an efficient Colts team who marched all the way to the title game. That Colts team needs to show up Sunday.
