5) There is a lot of time left to get better

At the end of the day, the Atlanta Falcons are 6-3 and still have a bye week plus seven more games to try to make it to the 2015 NFL playoffs. There is absolutely no reason to throw in the white flag. The Falcons still hold one of the two wild card spots and have a decent cushion on the last team out.

It wasn’t pretty against the San Francisco 49ers, but that’s football for you. The 49ers outplayed the Falcons on both sides of the ball and did just enough to squeak out a 1-point victory. Can the Falcons get back on the right track? Sure they can. The bye week couldn’t have come at a better time.
