Atlanta Falcons: Five things we learned in loss to 49ers
1) A lot needs to be fixed during bye week
Nov 8, 2015; Santa Clara, CA, USA; Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (2) slides against San Francisco 49ers inside linebacker NaVorro Bowman (53) during the third quarter at Levi
A lot needs to be fixed if this team wants to make it to the playoffs. The Falcons have only had two leads at halftime all season long. That’s got to change going forward. Matt Ryan hasn’t been quite as good as we would have liked, the receiving corps is in shambles and there are several key injured players that need time to rest.
Not only will this bye week help to decipher through all of the mistakes, it will allow everyone to rest. The Falcons have played nine games in nine weeks. It’s time for a physical and mental break.
If you’re ready to quit on this team, then by all means, do it. But, I’m not going to quit on the season. The Falcons are 6-3 people, not 3-6. Relax and believe. The Falcons need us fans more than ever!
