The only player that I love more than Shilique Calhoun is Robert Nkemdiche, making him a must for this draft. Granted, he is also one of the best pure talents at defensive end that might make it tough to get him, but, in a perfect world, he’s available in the second round after the Falcons take Nkemdiche in round one.
Michigan State has become a force on defense, and it’s because of players like Calhoun that have grown into monsters for the Spartans. And he is one of the few players that I know can transition perfectly into the NFL with how he seals the edge against the run but can also rush the passer.
If the planets line up perfectly, Calhoun MUST be the Falcons second round pick.
