4. Can the Carolina Panthers go undefeated?
The Carolina Panthers keep winning, and they are now just six more wins away from a perfect regular season. Everybody is talking about it, and you can bet the players are thinking about it no matter how much they play it down in front of the cameras, but can they do it?
Carolina is clearly a very good football team, but to win 16 games in a row is nearly impossible. It’s going to be no walk in the park for them to achieve this incredible feat. First, they must take on a desperate Cowboys team revitalized by the return of Tony Romo. AT&T Stadium is going to be rocking on Thanksgiving.
If they come through that test, they will then have to win three more road games from their final five games, two of which are divisional games. The Saints and Falcons aren’t playing great football, but neither is an easy place to go. Divisional games can be unpredictable.
I for one have predicted the Panthers’ incredible streak to end this week against the Cowboys. Survive this, and they have a shot at an undefeated season, but it won’t be easy.
