The Minnesota Vikings are making a charge towards the NFC North title, and they took back control of first place after losing it a week earlier. The Packers were upset at home by the Bears, and the Vikings took care of business in Atlanta.
Minnesota forced three turnovers against Atlanta, and Adrian Peterson was able to slowly wear down the Falcons defense. The game was iced when Peterson broke away on a 36-yard touchdown run.
The Vikings are just a game above the Packers in first place, and we won’t know how crucial the loss at home to them will be until the season is over. The schedule gets incredibly tough from here on out. To win the NFC North, they will have to do it the hard way.
