Enough can’t be said about what Matt Ryan has been able to achieve as a member of the Atlanta Falcons. Ryan took over under center in 2008 at a point where the franchise was in dire need of a star player. Ryan is the franchise leader in passing yards with 31,647 and leads the franchise in touchdowns with 198.

Ryan also leads the franchise in completion percentage and quarterback rating. While Ryan has come under fire as of late, he should be praised for what he has accomplished in Atlanta. He took the Falcons to the 2012 NFC championship and came up one play short of a Super Bowl appearance.

While Ryan’s future with the Falcons is unknown as this time, he will go down as the best QB in franchise history until someone comes along and beats him out.
