It’s been a tough couple of months for the Atlanta Falcons. After starting the season 5-0, expectations were raised dramatically and while it was tough to see them dominating all season long, not many saw a 1-6 stretch over the next seven games coming.

To hit a five-game losing streak is tough, particularly when the next game on the schedule is against the undefeated Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have survived the first three quarters of the season intact, and they went 4-0 in the final quarter of last season, too.

The Panthers are a team that not only knows how to win, but keeps getting it done on the field. Whether it’s the defense, the offense or just some magic by Cam Newton, they keep finding a way to get over the line, something the Falcons have struggled to do.
