22. MIAMI DOLPHINS (5-8)

Last week: 20
Change: -2

Lamar Miller showed why he deserves more rushing attempts, piling on 89 yards and two touchdowns from only 12 rushes. The Miami Dolphins want to commit to the ground game, and they should have more confidence to hand the ball off to Miller, who showed his playmaking ability once again.

The Dolphins didn’t play a bad game, they just ran into the Giants on a bad night. Eli Manning was efficient completing 27 of his 31 passes, which is incredible. Manning threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns on the night, and an 84-yard touchdown by Odell Beckham Jr. was the backbreaker.

Miami seems to be without an identity. If they want to be a power running team, it sure didn’t look like it for long enough periods against New York. It’s understandable due to the various coaching changes that have been made throughout the season, and the Dolphins must regroup in the offseason and look to build on what’s been an eventful season.

If Dan Campbell is the man to take over as permanent head coach, he needs the backing because the Dolphins need some continuity. Continuity and a heavier dose of Lamar Miller will help them a lot.
