The Indianapolis Colts need Andrew Luck back. Fast. Matt Hasselbeck went down in the Colts’ blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and if neither quarterback is ready to go, there will be real concerns heading into a huge game with the Texans.

Week 15 was pencilled in a couple of weeks ago as a potential return date for Luck, although we will have to wait to find out whether or not he will be able to play. If he is ready to go, the Colts will be favorites to take the AFC South crown. If not, the Texans will have a chance to deliver a damaging blow to the Colts’ postseason dreams.

The 51-16 loss at the hands of the Jaguars, yes, the Jaguars, was as humiliating as it gets for the Colts. It’s not something anyone thought they would see in 2015. The other way around, sure. But not with the 51 points being scored by the Jags. But welcome to the 2015 NFL season, one of the wackiest seasons in a long time.

If Luck gets healthy and Indianapolis makes the playoffs, they can be competitive. After all, this team was one game away from the Super Bowl a year ago.
