8. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (8-5)

Last week: 8
Change: None

The Pittsburgh Steelers took a giant leap towards the playoffs with a road victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, who lost quarterback Andy Dalton. Fact is, even with Dalton the Steelers had a great shot at winning. They certainly started the game better than the Bengals.

The Steelers could have the best offense in the NFL, and they have posted at least 30 points in each of their past five games. With a healthy Ben Roethlisberger and a host of talented receivers in Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton, the Steelers are tough to defend. That’s before you add in the excellent ground game with DeAngelo Williams.

Pittsburgh is currently just outside of the playoff spots, and they must overtake the red hot Kansas City Chiefs or New York Jets to get in. They host Denver next week. Something has to give. The Broncos haven’t allowed 30 points all season, while the Steelers have put up at least that number in their past five games.

If the Steelers can overcome the Broncos defense next week, they will get to finish the season against the Ravens and Browns which would give them a great shot at reaching 11-5.
