The Atlanta Falcons play their final road game of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Atlanta Falcons take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Field this week. The playoffs are likely out of sight for the Falcons, but this game gives them an opportunity to right some wrongs on offense and restore some confidence across the board.

The Jaguars, on the other hand, are still very much in the playoff race. After blowing out the Indianapolis Colts by a scoreline of 51-16 last week, the Jaguars are just a game off the division lead. The two leaders, Houston and Indianapolis, play this week, so a win for Jacksonville would tie them for second place.

So in that regard, there is plenty to play for. From an Atlanta perspective, many players will be competing for their jobs. Dan Quinn won’t give up on the playoffs yet, but it would take a highly unlikely series of events for that to become a realistic possibility. For now, the Falcons must focus on winning a game and restoring some pride before the season closes.
