The Atlanta Falcons take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this week. We spoke with Black and Teal to get a Jaguars perspective on the game.

The Atlanta Falcons hit the road for the third straight week to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Will the Falcons finally end the losing run?

I spoke with Daniel Lago, editor of Black and Teal, which is our FanSided affiliate site that covers the Jacksonville Jaguars. It’s great to be able to get a Jaguars perspective on Sunday’s game. Here’s the five questions I asked him.

The Jaguars look much improved this season. How has this team changed from last season?

DL: The Jacksonville Jaguars have improved significantly on the offensive side of the ball, particularly at the quarterback position. Despite what some folks on Twitter want to say, Blake Bortles has developed tremendously and has proven himself to be a legitimate franchise quarterback.

His 30 touchdown passes are a testament to the work he put in during the offseason and the talent he has around him. Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns are playing like top 20 receivers in the NFL and the running game has taken a big step forward with T.J. Yeldon.

The defense still has huge issues, but the emergence of the offense has helped keep the Jaguars competitive in every game this year.
