The likelihood of the Atlanta Falcons addressing the linebacker position is very much so in their favor. With free agent pickup Brooks Reed being a miscalculation, Justin Durant being liable to injuries, and Paul Worrilow not taking that next step, it’s possible coach Dan Quinn may grab a couple of linebackers via draft, free agency, or both.

While we all love the visual of seeing potential first-round linebackers Jaylon Smith, Myles Jack, Reggie Ragland, or S’ua Cravens in Atlanta, it’s always good to have a contingency plan. Which is where I step in.

If the situation occurs where Atlanta doesn’t wind up with one of the elite defenders, don’t fret. Here are five linebackers that could be Plan B options if the Falcons do not wind up with any of the Four Horsemen.
