Devonta Freeman without a doubt has been the Atlanta Falcons’ breakout player of 2015. The second-year running back has taken the NFL by storm in 2015 and was awarded to the pro bowl for his great season. Freeman has been the Falcons’ workhorse all season long and has helped keep the Falcons balanced all season long.
Freeman is just 20 yards away from hitting 1,000 yards rushing on the season and is just 40 receiving yards away from 600.
Freeman currently ranks fifth in the NFL in total yards from scrimmage with 1,540 and has played one fewer game than every man in front of him. In fact, you could argue that Freeman has played two fewer games than everyone else due to his concussion coming in the first quarter earlier this season.
Freeman has had a season to remember and will have one more game to achieve the goals everyone wants him to get. Not only is Freeman dominating in yards from scrimmage but he is also leading the NFL in rushing touchdowns with 11.
