30. TENNESSEE TITANS (3-12)

The Tennessee Titans weren’t trying to lose the game and move closer to the first overall pick, although at times it looked that way against the Texans. Marcus Mariota sat out, and likely will for the remainder of the season, and Zach Mettenberger fell short in his duel with Brandon Weeden.
Turnovers are the killer in the NFL, and the Titans turned it over four times. Mettenberger was intercepted once and he also lost a fumble. Harry Douglas and Antonio Andrews also coughed it up. This summed up an ugly loss in an ugly season.
The Titans need to make some progress in the offseason. Mariota looks like a great quarterback in the making, but he can’t do it alone. The team is still in a rebuilding process and these things take time, but they need to hit on some draft picks and make some wise free agency moves.
They are well on track for the first overall pick in April’s draft. Which position would the Titans address? Maybe some offensive line help? That would make a whole lot of sense considering what they have invested in their young quarterback, who has missed time with two knee injuries this season.
