The Atlanta Falcons host the New Orleans Saints in both team’s final game of the season. Here’s everything you need to know.

Last week, the Atlanta Falcons avenged a humiliating loss to the Carolina Panthers by handing them their first defeat of the season. This week, the Falcons get a shot to get revenge on the New Orleans Saints, who snapped the Falcons’ five-game winning streak back in Week 6.

It’s been an up-and-down season for the Falcons. After a 5-0 start, expectations were rising when they entered the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to take on a 1-4 Saints team. The Falcons were handed a humbling defeat which kicked off slide of seven defeats in eight games.

But they got back on track with a victory over the Jaguars in Week 15, and backed it up with an impressive 20-13 win over the then-undefeated Panthers, who beat the Falcons 38-0 just two weeks earlier. Now, they look to cap off the 2015 campaign with three straight wins and a 9-7 record.

Fans face a dilemma with this game. Lose, and the Falcons can wind up with a strong draft pick. But that means losing to the Saints at home and getting swept on the season. A win means Dan Quinn kicks finishes his first season with a winning record. The latter sounds more appealing.

Here’s everything you need to know entering the Week 17 showdown.
