Jacob Tamme followed soon-to-be hall of fame quarterback Peyton Manning around for his entire NFL career but decided to take his talents to Atlanta and pair up with Matt Ryan. Tammy was expected to catch a pass here and there but wasn’t expected to contribute as much as he did in 2015.

Tamme caught 59 passes for a career high 657 yards and had one touchdown. Tamme caught his career long pass of 41 yards in 2015 and averaged a career high 11.1 yards per catch. Enough can’t be said for the body of work he put in for the Falcons this past season.

In a year in which the Falcons’ receiving corps struggled with the exception of Julio Jones, Tamme was able to give Ryan a reliable target all season long. Tammy finished second on the team in receiving yards and was second on the team in catches of 25 yards or more.
