You might be thinking to yourself, why put Julio Jones on this list? Well, it’s actually quite simple. Did you expect him to surpass Jerry Rice’s 1,848 receiving yards set back in 1995 and move into sole second with 1,871 yards? I doubt you did.

A receiver with Jones’ skills doesn’t come around very often and the resume he is putting together in his 5-year career. Jones wasn’t the No.1 guy in Atlanta to start his career. That position was held by Roddy White but the tide has quickly turned.

With a major decrease in production for White over the past couple of seasons, Jones has compiled 3,464 yards and 14 touchdowns in the past two seasons. That’s downright incredible. Not only did Jones move into a tie for second all-time in receptions in a season with 136, but he was targeted 204 times, folks! 204 times! That is ridiculous!

Giving Jones a max contract to start the 2015 season is proving to be the right move and what Jones will do next is sure to impress.
