Round 4: Justin Hardy – C+

Justin Hardy didn’t get many opportunities early in 2015 as he adjusted to life in the NFL, but his role grew later in the season, and he has a bright future ahead of him.

Hardy didn’t make his first start until the Week 8 defeat against Tampa Bay. He caught two passes for 21 yards that day. As the season went on, his role increased and he looked a better player. Some big catches on third down were made, and there was clear progress on show.

The Falcons need a legitimate No. 2 receiver to step up. Could Hardy be the man? He will get the opportunity to become a key member on offense heading into 2016.

Round 5: Grady Jarrett – A

Grady Jarrett was considered a steal in the fifth round last May, and he has lived up to that tag. Jarrett can be the anchor of the Falcons defense in future years, and made a strong start when called upon. His play against the run was particularly encouraging.

When we look back at this draft class in years to come, Jarrett could go down as the best of the lot.

Round 7: Jake Rodgers – F

Jake Rodgers was cut and is now with the New York Giants. Any time a draft pick is cut so soon, it’s not a good thing.

Round 7: Akeem King – C

Akeen King was selected with the Falcons’ last pick, so there was of course low expectations. He got some playing time later in the year but figures to be a developmental prospect.
