Atlanta Falcons: 5 free agents that nobody is talking about
4) Nick Perry, DE
Nick Perry is a very underrated pass rusher much like Adrian Clayborn was for the Atlanta Falcons in 2015 and would be a nice addition to the defense. Perry was a first round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2012 and has 12.5 sacks in 46 games played.
Perry might not be good enough to be a starter for the Falcons, but he would give the Falcons a much better rush than Kroy Biermann has given in his recent time with the team. Perry should be fairly cheap and has done very well in the playoffs. Perry has another five sacks in five games played in the postseason.
Nobody is talking about Perry and I have no idea why. He is an unrestricted free agent which gives him free range to pick whatever team will pay him the most in the offseason. If i’m the Falcons, i’m jumping all over the opportunity to sign him if the price is right.
