3. Week 1 vs. Philadelphia Eagles – Nine catches, 141 yards, 2 touchdowns

A Monday night primetime setting, against a team in the Eagles that stole most of the offseason headlines with the free agent signings of CB Byron Maxwell, RB DeMarco Murray, and trade acquisition of QB Sam Bradford.

However, that same setting allowed Julio to set the tone for a record-breaking 2015 season. Jones got his one-on-one matchups with Maxwell and won them in dramatic fashion. One of those mini-victories were Julio’s 22 yard TD catch late in the second quarter in the above picture (notice Cris Carter’s face in the background) to put the Falcons up 20-3 before halftime. Another efficient game by Jones where he caught 81% of his targets.
