Jeremy Cash has been out of football since early December after undergoing wrist surgery but is expected to be a full participant in this weekend’s senior bowl.

Cash is the No.2 ranked strong safety in the 2016 draft and the Atlanta Falcons’ camp should have all eyes on the 6-2, 210-pound freight train.

Cash fits the mold of a player such as Kam Chancellor and would excel in a Dan Quinn system in Atlanta. Cash was quoted as saying that he likes to “punish people” on the football field and that’s exactly what the Falcons are in need of.

Not only is Cash an excellent tackler, he is also a ball hawk.

“Throughout this week, the sole focus is to show people I can run sideline-to-sideline, that natural ability to do all of those things that they wondered if I could do,” Cash said.

With the likely departure of long-time Atlanta Falcons’ safety William Moore in the coming weeks, the Falcons will be in need of a new starting strong safety. Cash could easily step right in and start from the get go and has the potential to be the biggest steal in this years’ draft.
