Quick North Team Practice Notes
– Ohio State WR Braxton Miller had great day running routes and catching the ball with soft hands. Miller has shown scouts that he can be a true receiver.
– North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz came into practice with many eyes watching as he was rated as the top quarterback at the senior bowl. Though he started out a little slow, Wentz quickly showed off his arm with some good throws and impressed many evaluators.
– Illinois DE Jihad Ward ha a really good day in one-on-ones and team scrimmages. He has great size at 6’6, 295 pounds and has played from a 3-tech all the way to 6-tech.
