2. Interior offensive line

The Falcons’ offensive line stepped up in a big way in 2015, but it still has the look of a fragile position. It appeared to be a case of a group of guys doing their jobs well and playing together, but it’s still likely some big guys are added this offseason.

The biggest need is at the interior positions. The Falcons may look to upgrade their guards, as well as finding another center. If they turn to free agency, the Ravens’ Kelechi Osemele stands out as the top guard. At just 26-years-old, he’s entering the best years of his career. Khaled Elsayed of Pro Football Focus rated him as the third best offensive player set to hit free agency:

"“The long-time Raven is entering the prime of his career—and playing as well as ever after a slow start to 2015. Osemele has already proved to be one of the best run blockers in the entire league, with his ability to win at the point of attack setting him apart from other NFL guards.”"

If the Falcons want to bolster the interior of their offensive line in free agency, Osemele will be a name they would love to bring in. Again, the price tag will be the determining factor.
