A Danny Trevathan move to Atlanta is something that the Falcons’ fan base is starting to stir up and the more I see it, the more I want it to happen.

Trevathan has used up his rookie contract and is set to make his first real chunk of cash in the NFL and the team that elects to spend the money on him could be the Falcons. Trevathan has ties to Atlanta though defensive coordinator Richard Smith who was the linebacker coach with the Denver Broncos before joining Dan Quinn in Atlanta.

Many believe that the Falcons will part ways with current linebacker Paul Worrilow and fill his hole via free agency of the draft. If that is the case Trevathan quickly moves up as a possible pickup and would give the Falcons a much better option than Worrilow.

Trevathan wouldn’t break the bank for the Falcons, but he will ask for a good amount of money. Is it with it? I think it is.
