To make the playoffs next season, the Atlanta Falcons need to make the right selections in the 2016 NFL Draft. Here’s the latest mock.

Who will the Atlanta Falcons take in the 2016 NFL Draft? It’s officially mock draft season. Who could the Falcons take in each round?

The Falcons don’t have a fifth or sixth round pick this year. They lost their fifth round pick for pumping fake crowd noise into the Georgia Dome, and traded away their sixth round pick to the Titans in return for guard Andy Levitre. That’s not good news.

For a team with so many needs, a lack of draft picks isn’t a good thing. After spending plenty of money in free agency last year, it’s also unlikely the Falcons will have any compensatory picks, meaning they will be stuck with five barring any trades. This means Atlanta will be in the hunt for talent in free agency again and will need to hit their five picks out of the park.

Let’s take a look at some possibilities for the Falcons in each round. They own the 17th overall pick after finishing 8-8 in Dan Quinn’s first season as head coach. Who will the Falcons take with the pick? Let’s begin.
