Atlanta Falcons: Full 2016 seven-round mock draft
Round 4: G Sebastian Tretola, Arkansas
The offensive line was much improved for the Falcons in 2015, but there is still room for improvements long term. It’s possible they look for a center at some point in free agency or the draft, but at this pick I had them taking guard Sebastian Tretola.
Tretola is a physical player with a good frame at 6-foot-4, 317 pounds. His best work comes in the run game, which could be good news for Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Tretola is ranked second in WalterFootball.com’s guard rankings:
"“Tretola impressed sources – who tipped me off months ago – in 2015, especially in the ground game, opening holes for Alex Collins. Tretola is a power run blocker who was also rather dependable in pass protection, but that latter phase is what he will need to improve the most in the NFL. At the Senior Bowl, Tretola had a solid week and achieved movement at the point of attack.”"
Adding a player to the interior of the offensive line would make sense. You need talented big guys up front on both sides of the ball, and the Falcons could get a talented upgrade in the trenches with this pick.
