Shaq Lawson is a player that would fit in wonderfully with the Atlanta Falcons but it’s looking more and more like he will be long gone by the time the Falcons are on the clock at pick No. 17. Lawson is the former teammate of Vic Beasley and would line up opposite of him and would give the team a much different style of pass rush from the defensive end position.

Lawson uses his strength rather than his speed. He is very powerful at the at the point of attack and is able to handle double teams with his size. Lawson is going to be very high on the Falcons’ radar but we will have to wait and see if he gets picked up before they pick. Don’t count on him being available.
