2016 Scouting Combine schedule: Big week for Atlanta Falcons

The 2016 NFL Scouting Combine is underway. Here’s the full schedule of events for this week.

Draft season is officially here. This week, talent evaluators from each NFL team get the opportunity to see draft prospects up close and personal. They will also have the opportunity to hold interviews with players.

Atlanta Falcons general manager will be in attendance, and he knows the important of this year’s draft. A strong class will set the Falcons up for further improvements, whereas a poor group could force the team to move on at general manager. With just five picks in this year’s draft (barring any trades), there is little margin for error.

Here’s the schedule for this week’s combine:

Day 1: Tuesday, February 23

Groups 1-3 (Special Teams, Offensive Linemen, Running Backs)
Travel to Indianapolis, registration, hospital pre-exam and x-rays, orientation, interviews

Day 2: Wednesday, February 24

Measurements, medical examinations, media, interviews

Groups 4-6 (Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends)
