Defensive ends

Pass rush is a major point of emphasis for the Falcons this offseason. After putting up a total of just 19 in 2015, Dimitroff will likely look to add one early on in the draft. Here’s some names to look out for.

Noah Spence, Eastern Kentucky

Spence is easily one of the best pass rushers in the draft on talent alone, but he was kicked out of Ohio State after failing multiple drugs tests. If he can overcome his off-the-field problems, has the potential to be a star in the NFL. Combine is huge for Spence.

Kevin Dodd, Clemson

Could give the Falcons’ pass rush a major boost. Has great size and athleticism and could form a dangerous tandem with Vic Beasley. Like last year, could the Falcons opt for a pass rusher from Clemson with their first pick?

Shilique Calhoun, Michigan State

Calhoun has the speed and fluidity to play in Dan Quinn’s defense. Considered a second round option, so will be interesting whether his performance at the combine changes that. Another potential target for the Falcons to improve their anaemic pass rush.
