Atlanta Falcons: four wide receivers to watch at combine
Will Fuller – Notre Dame
There is only one reason why Will Fuller is on this list and that has to do with the fact that the Atlanta Falcons have scheduled a meeting with him. Fuller admitted to being a fan of the Falcons and would love to get drafted by them, but there are several negative things surrounding him.
Fuller has great statistics coming out of Notre Dame, but has two things that downgrade that. For one, he’s very lanky to be 6-0. He weighed in at 186 pounds and isn’t big enough to be anything more than a No.2 or No. 3 wide receiver on a team.
Secondly, he’s prone to drop passes and that is in direct correlation to his small hand size. Of all of the top receivers, Fuller has the smallest hand size at just 8 1/4 inches. No one else has a hand size smaller than nine inches.
He can blow the doors off of a defense and is prone to making spectacular catches in traffic, but his drops are an issue and so is his size. However, he is still someone who you should watch very closely during this years’ combine.
