The NFL is a ruthless business and it churns up and spits out players just as fast as they bring new ones in and not even the  Atlanta Falcons’ all-time leading receiver Roddy White was safe. White was let go by the Falcons yesterday afternoon after 11 wonderful years and as much as we want to grieve over this, we have to look forward and figure out who on Earth is going to fill his large shoes.

This is shaping up to be one of the best overall wideout draft classes in quite some time. They didn’t run very fast at the combine, but the 2016 draft is full of receivers who could have very good careers and the Falcons will have their eyes on quite a few of them.

The Falcons will also have their eye on several free agent receivers and could potentially have White’s replacement within the next two weeks. While it isn’t the biggest need, finding a new receiver just jumped up to one of the top positional needs for the Falcons and the thought of having a new fresh receiver on the Falcons is rather refreshing.

Let’s take a look at a few receivers who could potentially fill White’s void. If any of these players on the list are half as good as White was with Atlanta, it will be a huge win for the franchise.
