LB Zach Brown

To say that the Atlanta Falcons need to upgrade their linebacking corps would be an understatement. There will be a lot of free agents that will meet with the team over this time period, but former Tennessee linebacker Zach Brown is the linebacker that all Falcons fans should be crossing their fingers to visit.

Playing in Tennessee, Brown was never fully given the best opportunity to succeed, but if you look within his numbers, it would be easy to say that this linebacker could be one of the most undervalued linebackers in the entire NFL. With that sort of chip on his shoulder, Brown could easily succeed and quickly be the gem of this free agency period to any team that can get him on their defense.

I still anticipate the Atlanta Falcons to refuse to pay the big bucks for any player during free agency, and, much like the Alex Mack situation, the Bruce Irvin market that is nearing $9.5 million dollars per year should make the Falcons back off of the former Seahawks linebacker. But getting a player like Brown would be the surprise home run signing for this team.
