The Atlanta Falcons have been linked to several high end free agents but will they sign any of them?

The Atlanta Falcons were linked to a handful of players yesterday and a couple of them are very, very good. However, a couple other big named free agents have yet to be formally linked to the team which has left the fan base at odds after day 1.

Falcons’ fans are no stranger to disappointing free agency classes. Sure, they signed Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner in years’ past, but other than that the franchise has done a whole lot of nothing. However, the fans still get their hopes up every year and rightfully so. This is a team that has a very bright future so to think that top free agents wouldn’t want to come play here would be kind of surprising.

let’s take a look at some of the players that the Falcons have been linked to and take a look at their chances of getting signed. And for the heck of it, we’ll throw in a couple of long shots because they’re always fun.
