Mohamed Sanu’s name has been tossed around as a possible Atlanta Falcons’ target but no official reports have been made yet. ESPN’s Vaughn McClure made a statement that the Falcons will likely be in on the 26-year-old former Cincinnati Bengals’ receiver but until we hear something official, that’s not going to happen.

A lot of people are wary of Sanu. He was the Bengals’ third option and some question whether or not he could be a No. 2 option in the NFL. While he’s great at times, he disappears in other times and that’s not what the Falcons are looking for. Atlanta does not need another Leonard Hankerson on their hand and that’s what fans will compare Sanu too.

We will see if anything goes down today as far as the Falcons being linked to him.
