No news as to what teams are interested in wide receiver Travis Benjamin have surfaced yet, but a lot of people seem to think that the Atlanta Falcons will be big players on the 26-year-old. The No. 2 receiver spot on the Falcons’ roster is gaping at the moment. Second-year receiver Justin Hardy is currently listed as the teams’ second choice and that is unfathomable heading into next season.

Benjamin is a huge offensive threat. He would complement Julio Jones in every way imaginable. His speed is killer, his ability to blow the doors off of a defense is eye-opening and his dreadlocks are on point. What else isn’t there to like?

The Falcons won’t be the only team interested in Benjamin so this is by no means a lock to happen. Teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans are all expected to be players but no destination is more appealing to a wide receiver than Atlanta.

Hopefully some news on Benjamin will surface later today.
