Signing Derrick Shelby and re-signing Adrian Clayborn are great moves, but at the end of the day, rolling with Vic Beasley and those two isn’t going to catapult them into one of the leagues’ best pass rushing groups. But, with that being said, they are definitely headed in the right direction.

As stated before, the Falcons will still likely used their first-round draft pick on an edge rusher and if they do that, they would have at the very worst, four solid pass rushers who are all more than capable of racking up solid sack numbers.

The Falcons have been at the bottom of the league in sacks each of the past two seasons and that all starts with the front office failing to address the position. Rolling with guys such as Kroy Biermann and Tyson Jackson doesn’t equivilate to high sack totals and those days appear to be a thing of the past.

We will see if the add another pass rusher in free agency but if they don’t, expect a guy like Shaq Lawson or Kevin Dodd to be in a Falcons’ uniform come late April.
